The SmallRig 6477 Split Filter Kit is specially designed for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, providing flexible control over exposure, reflections, and image rendering in a compact filter system.

Featuring VND1-5, CPL, and 1/4 Black Diffusion filters, the kit gives creators multiple options for different shooting conditions. The filters are made of optical glass with multi-layer coatings to help maintain accurate colour reproduction, reduce stray light, and provide reliable optical performance.

FILTER FUNCTIONS

VND1-5 Filter

The variable ND filter provides 1 to 5 stops of adjustable light reduction (ND2-ND32). It is useful in bright daylight, golden-hour shooting, and other situations where additional exposure control is required. By reducing the amount of light entering the camera, it allows greater control over shutter speed for smoother and more natural-looking motion blur.

CPL Filter

The circular polariser helps reduce unwanted reflections and glare from surfaces such as water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces. It can also help improve contrast and reveal more detail in reflective scenes.

1/4 Black Diffusion Filter

The 1/4 Black Diffusion filter softens harsh highlights and reduces an overly digital or sharp appearance. It is suitable for portraits, night scenes, cinematic video, and creative vlogging where a softer and more atmospheric look is desired.

FILTER STACKING

The SmallRig 6477 supports stacking up to two filters while shooting.

For better control, an adjustable filter such as the VND or CPL should be paired with a non-adjustable filter such as the Black Diffusion filter.

Important:

• Do not use VND and CPL filters together.

• Do not stack more than two filters at the same time.

• Only one filter should be installed when powering the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P on or off.

• If using two stacked filters, install them only after the device is powered on.

• Remove the additional filter before powering the device off to help prevent possible gimbal damage.

• Install the dedicated filter base in the correct orientation.
