The SmallRig 6477 Split Filter Kit is designed specifically for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P. It includes a VND 1–5 stop filter, a circular polariser (CPL) and a 1/4 Black Diffusion filter, giving you three ways to shape your footage: control incoming light, reduce unwanted reflections and soften harsh highlights.

Three Filters, Three Creative Tools

VND 1–5 Stop: Control Exposure in Bright Light

The variable neutral density filter provides 1 to 5 stops of light reduction, equivalent to ND2–ND32. It helps you control shutter speed in brighter conditions for more natural-looking motion blur in video.

CPL: Reduce Reflections and Glare

The circular polariser helps reduce unwanted reflections from water, glass and other non-metallic surfaces. It can improve contrast and reveal detail that glare would otherwise obscure.

1/4 Black Diffusion: Soften Harsh Highlights

The diffusion filter softens harsh highlights and reduces an overly sharp digital appearance. Use it for portraits, atmospheric night scenes and creative vlogs when you want a softer rendering.

Important Filter Stacking and Gimbal Instructions

• Do not use the VND and CPL filters together.
• Do not stack more than two filters.
• Pair an adjustable filter, such as the VND or CPL, with the non-adjustable Black Diffusion filter.
• Only one filter should be installed when powering the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P on or off.
• When using two filters, add the second filter only after the camera is powered on.
• Remove the additional filter before powering the camera off to help prevent possible gimbal damage.
• Install the dedicated filter base in the correct orientation.

Can I combine the CPL and VND filters?
